LIABILITY COVERAGE'S
Liability Coverage on your Auto Insurance is a very Important Number to understand and know that you have enough. Usually it is expressed in 3 numbers for example 100-300-100 to explain each, the First Number would mean $100,000 Per Person Bodily Injury Liability Second Number 300 would mean $300,000 Per Occurrence Bodily Injury Liability, the Third number would mean $100,000 property Damage. It is VERY important to make sure that you have adequate amounts of coverage, if not it could be financially devastating to you.
For example , say that you have the Minimum Coverage's amounts( Idaho 25-50-15)
and you have an auto accident at Fault. You injure 3 People that have to go to
Hospital and that cost is $20,000 each that is a total of $60,000 and you only
have $50,000 coverage so you then are laibile for the $10,000. Now say you damage a Motor home $50,000 and you have only $15,000 Coverage you are going to be liable for the additional $35,000.

Towing Coverage is a great coverage to have , it will pay when you are locked out of your car or to tow you to a Shop if your car is broke down, the Cost is Minimal $6 to $10 Per 6 Months.
Collision Plus Coverage, is also known as Rental Car Coverage when your car is damaged by a Collision ( your Fault or Not) the Policy will pay you so much a day, $10/$25/$50 per day to a Maximum amount that you can use for a Rental car
or Even to pay your deductible. Cost is about $16 to $24 per car per 6 months.

Home Insurance
When You leave for a Vacation or a few days, shut off the Main water supply to the house to avoid a Flood , Also Change the Water supply hoses( both Hot and Cold) at least once every 2 years. These are the two areas that we have seen the most losses, and they are easy to protect against.
It is once again Fall time to protect things from Freezing with our Winters we have in this area, be sure and disconnect the Outside Hoses and bring them into the garage for storage, Clean out the Rain Gutters of any leaves or debris in
them. If you have a Fireplace be sure when it is cleaned out to put the ashes in a METAL bucket only, and not in a area where if they did flare up they could catch something on fire.
It is also time to Change the Batteries in the Smoke Detectors and be sure and test them monthly.
